Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic - Path Engineering

As a Field Mechanic (also known as Equipment Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician), you'll be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating your scope of work. This includes acquiring an in-depth understanding of heavy equipment capabilities and operating procedures, conducting inspections and diagnostic testing, maintaining vehicle appearance and records, troubleshooting equipment issues, and enforcing health and safety standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as an equipment mechanic.
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, machine safety inspections, and shop math skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR and a DOT Medical Card (preferred).
