Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic - Nesco Resource, LLC

Do you have expertise in diesel engine repair? Our client, a family owned business specializing in tractor trailer sales, parts and service located in Muncy, PA, is looking to add experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics to their team! Job Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy-duty diesel vehicles.
• Conduct state inspections in compliance with relevant regulations (CDL and state inspection license preferred).
• Troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, and drivetrain components.
• Perform brake, suspension, and steering system repairs and replacements.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the efficient operation of the maintenance department.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel engine technology.
• Detroit Diesel, Cummins, and Caterpillar qualifications are a plus.

• At least 1 year of Diesel Engine Repair experience
• Must have general tools
• Must be computer literate and be able to type and navigate engine diagnostic software
• CDL and State PA Inspection License preferred
• Ability to work every third Saturday

Hours: 7 am to 5 pm, Monday Friday

Pay: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
