Salary: $115,000 - $130,000 per year

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion. This includes projects related to highways, roadways, bridges, and other public civil structures. The individual will be involved in planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising large scale construction projects. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of project life cycle including planning, design, construction, and quality control.
- Manage and supervise the construction process of heavy civil projects, including highways, roadways, bridges, and other public civil structures.
- Prepare and analyze project cost estimates and bids.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce regarding project plans and specifications.
- Develop and manage project budgets and schedules.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.
- Utilize various software tools, including AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Trimble, and others for design and management purposes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Implement and manage quality control programs.
- Regularly report project status to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the heavy civil construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Solid experience with project management software, such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Trimble.
- Excellent understanding of the heavy civil construction process, including concrete and paving work.
- Proven experience in managing budgets and project schedules.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to the quality of work.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or related field is a plus.
- Must be willing to travel as required by project locations.
