Heavy Civil Project Manager - Gpac

A growing civil construction company is seeking a Project Manager. They are looking for someone with proven experience in managing heavy civil construction projects, including earthwork, large site development, underground utilities, civil dirt work, concrete structures, bridges, water & wastewater treatments is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex civil construction projects, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

• 15+ years of experience in heavy civil construction
• Managing 30M+ projects start to finish
• Strong estimating capabilities
• Experience in HCSS HeavyBid preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels from client, management, to workers and subcontractors
• Heavy civil construction experience
• Good documentation skills
• Proactive in solving issues quickly
• Experienced in employee supervision, development, and mentoring

• Work well with all other team members
• Effectively communicate progress/problems with relevant team members
• Prepare Project Production Schedules
• Create and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
• Ability to maintain and develop client relationships
• Work with Field Superintendent to coordinate all aspects of job
