The Field Engineer supports the Project Engineer and Project Superintendent with production tracking, operational planning, communication, organization, and tracking project data.
Pay 80k-110k DOE + Full benefits
Regular Job Duties:
- Collaborate with foremen and superintendents to track and analyze work plans for field operations efficiency.
- Assist in developing Work Activity Plans.
- Ensure field work meets project standards and specifications.
- Maintain all Project Logs.
- Present information effectively to managers and employees.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, manuals, contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Must Have Qualifications:
- Must have 2+ years of experience in heavy civil/marine construction, with a focus on roads and bridges.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar field preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to multi-task, be a self-starter, and have a passion for construction.
- Valid driver’s license for occasional travel.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
