Rummel Construction, Inc. a Heavy Civil Construction Contractor located in Scottsdale is currently seeking an experienced Superintendent. This position is responsible for supervising our operations in an assigned area. Coordinates all site construction activities and the ability to supervise all field personnel. Identify obstacles before the start of a project and address immediate uncertainties with the Project Management team. Administers good construction safety practices and communicates effectively with all on-site activities.
Perform related duties including but not limited to:
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors to supplement internal resources in meeting client's needs.
- Supervise, train, evaluate, and coach direct reporting to Area Superintendent and other team members.
- Participate in partnering issues resolution process.
- Work with owners/developers to maintain proper scope.
- Responsible for implementation of dust control, protection of 404 wash areas, safety managements, emergency action planning, permits, quality control, and company policies in assigned area.
Min Qualifications: 5 years' experience in the construction industry. Ability to work independently and as a team leader, exercising professional judgment and behavior. Ability and willingness to travel to jobsites throughout the Southwest United States.
