Job Summary
Responsible for: project pursuit, acquisition, administration and execution of multiple assigned projects in a safe, profitable, and timely manner. Primary function is the procurement and execution of work within an assigned geography, region or market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Bottom line responsibility for the financial success of the group of projects in the assigned area.
2. Ensures Relentless Execution by providing senior leadership to project teams as required, resolving potential problems related to construction, subcontractors, owners, architects and engineers.
3. Full responsibility to ensure the company's commitment on services provided to Owners for design and construction phases of assigned project. Prevents claims, identify potential claims, quantify, mitigate/resolve the effects of those that do occur on a timely basis.
4. Manages project communications to ensure timely and appropriate generation, collection, distribution, storage, retrieval and ultimate disposition of project information.
5. Obtain and execute new work by developing pre-winning strategies establishing key alliances with select subcontractors, suppliers, and owners.
6. Oversees and ensures all the processes involved in budgeting and controlling costs so that the project can be completed within the approved budget. Demonstrates business acumen within area of responsibility and demonstrates a thorough understanding of the change management process.
7. Participates in activities to support the company's strategic planning efforts.
8. Relationship management for clients with assigned projects.
9. Responsible for understanding fees, contract terms, and risk management in coordination with the operations manager.
10. Review of monthly progress reports for assigned projects.
11. Supervises and directs all project pre-planning activities in coordination with the operations manager including establishing the project charter and a comprehensive project management plan (PMP) to ensure successful project execution. Ensures the project scope management plan, time management plan, project financial plan, environmental plan, procurement plan, risk management plan and quality and safety management plans are complete and followed.
Minimum Job Requirements
1. 15+ years' experience managing construction projects.
2. Bachelor's Degree required.
3. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
4. Projects worked need to be in excess of $20 million.

Physical Requirements
1. Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
2. May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
3. May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
4. May use telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
5. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
6. Occasionally will climb stairs, ladders, etc.
7. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
8. Will interact with people frequently during a shift/work day
9. Will lift, push or pull objects on an occasional basis
10. Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.
