Heat Recovery Project Manager - Manpower Engineering

Our client, a leading energy efficiency company, is seeking a Heat Recovery Project Manager to join their team. As a Heat Recovery Project Manager, you will be part of the Advanced Efficiency Solutions Department supporting the Heat Recovery Program.

Location: Albany, New York (Remote - Preference for candidates in NYC or surrounding area)

What's the Job?

• Manage multiple projects through their entire lifecycle, from proposal and contracting, through technical assistance, and project close out.
• Develop working relationships with program stakeholders including manufacturers, engineers and building owners.
• Review, evaluate, and constructively criticize or approve project deliverables, including contract scopes of work with budget and milestone schedules and various technical documentation.
• Support Team in designing, developing and executing new strategies that increase market adoption of heat recovery solutions.
• Contribute to the development of program resources and events for outreach and educational purposes.

What's Needed?

• 5-10 years of experience with building sciences, decarbonization technologies (particularly heat recovery solutions), and/or energy efficiency.
• Familiarity with building science and energy efficiency projects, particularly heat recovery projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong project management abilities, such as planning, setting priorities, managing time, and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Partnership development - ability to engage with and cultivate relationships with engineers, real estate stakeholders, manufacturers and other technology solution providers.
• Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
