Hearing Instrument Specialist or Audiologist - Beltone PA
Johnstown, PA
About the Job
Join Our Team as a Hearing Care Practitioner!
Are you ready to make a difference in people's lives while building a fulfilling career? We're looking for motivated professionals to join our fast-growing network of hearing aid clinics in the Greater Johnstown area.
For over 20 years, we've been helping people hear better, and now it's your chance to be part of a team that truly changes lives. You don't need prior experience in the hearing field-we'll provide the training to set you up for success. While having a license as a Hearing Instrument Specialist or Audiologist is preferred, it's not required.
As a Hearing Care Practitioner, you'll wear many hats: part medical professional, part counselor, part technician, and part salesperson. You'll be respected in your community, earn a competitive income, and enjoy the benefits of a healthcare career-all without the cost and time of a graduate degree.
Why This Role is So Rewarding
Hearing loss affects over 48 million Americans, yet less than 16% use hearing aids. Untreated hearing loss can lead to depression, anxiety, social isolation, and even a higher risk of Alzheimer's and dementia. By helping people hear better, you're not just improving one person's life-you're strengthening their connections with family and friends.
What We Offer
We're dedicated to helping you grow as a confident and skilled professional. Here's how we'll support you:
- Paid Training: Learn everything you need to know and keep growing with continuing education opportunities.
- Patient Care Support: A coordinator will manage your schedule and appointments.
- Marketing and Outreach: We'll bring patients to you with marketing campaigns and relationships with local senior living facilities and physicians.
- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy regular hours with no weekend work required.
- Competitive Compensation: A base salary + commission earning from $53,600-$82,400.
- Time Off: Two weeks of paid vacation after 90 days.
- State-of-the-Art Tools: Work with the latest equipment and technology.
What You'll Do
- Conduct hearing tests and recommend personalized solutions for patients.
- Build meaningful relationships with patients while delivering excellent care and service.
- Follow up with patients to ensure their needs are met.
- Work with advanced systems and software.
- Manage inventory and maintain organized patient files.
- Occasionally work at nearby offices as needed.
Who You Are
We're looking for someone with:
- A strong work ethic and competitive drive.
- Patience and empathy, especially when working with older adults.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with computers.
- A high school diploma (or equivalent) and the ability to pass a Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check.
Sales experience is a plus, but more than anything, we're seeking individuals with great ethics, professionalism, and a desire to contribute to the community.
If you're ready to join a professional environment where you can truly make a difference, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and start your journey toward an impactful career!
