Title: Healthcare Staff Accountant
Location: Hybrid within the Northeastern Region
Description:
The Healthcare Staff Accountant will support accounting and tax functions for healthcare clients, collaborating with senior staff to ensure compliance with tax regulations and identifying strategies for financial efficiency. This role provides a dynamic environment with opportunities to engage in tax research, financial analysis, and professional development.
Responsibilities:
Prepare federal and state income tax returns for clients.
Conduct tax research and analyze financial reports to identify book-to-tax differences.
Assist in ensuring client compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Support senior staff in identifying tax savings strategies and providing client recommendations.
Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and U.S. tax reform legislation.
Gain proficiency with client and accounting software solutions.
Research and correct discrepancies in tax filings.
Participate in training sessions and educational opportunities.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior management.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
1–2 years of accounting experience.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
CPA license or candidacy is a bonus.
Healthcare industry accounting experience is a plus.
Familiarity with tax software and financial reporting tools.

Compensation:
Pay range: $59.5K- $85K/year
