The Healthcare Sales (Palliative Care) role will focus on developing and growing relationships with key referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers, to promote Ascend Hospice & Palliative Care's palliative care services in Lehigh Valley. This position is sales-oriented, with a strong emphasis on driving referrals, educating the community about Ascend Hospice & Palliative Care's offerings, and ensuring smooth care transitions for patients. The Healthcare Sales professional will play a critical role in establishing Ascend Hospice & Palliative Care's presence as a trusted provider of palliative care in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources such as healthcare providers, physicians, and hospitals in Lehigh Valley to increase referrals for palliative care services.
• Actively promote Ascend Hospice & Palliative Care's palliative care programs to community organizations, healthcare professionals, and the general public, highlighting the benefits and unique aspects of Ascend Hospice & Palliative Care's approach.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local healthcare community to drive growth in palliative care referrals.
• Conduct educational events, seminars, and presentations for healthcare professionals and community stakeholders to raise awareness about Ascend Hospice & Palliative Care's services.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Ascend Hospice & Palliative Care's services and referral sources, ensuring seamless communication and coordination for patient transitions.
• Collaborate with the Admissions and Care Teams to ensure all patient referrals are handled efficiently and with a high standard of care.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity in the palliative care space to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies.
• Assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies to enhance visibility and awareness of Ascend Hospice & Palliative Care's offerings.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in healthcare sales, marketing, or business development, with a focus on palliative care or related services.
• Strong knowledge of the healthcare market in Lehigh Valley, PA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and nurturing professional relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and drive business growth.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (preferred).
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the designated service areas.

Compensation:

• Competitive salary range: $80,000 - $88,000 per year (based on experience and book of business).
