Healthcare Recruiter - Saint Anthony Hospital

Position Purpose:

• Responsible for interviewing, testing, referring to applicants and making hiring decisions.

Essential Functions:

• Develops a pool of potential candidates through sourcing, advertising, recruitment fairs and other creative means. Recruits qualified candidates through resume screening, interviewing, background checks and collaboration with hiring managers.
• With approval from Compensation, negotiate starting wages with candidates assuring that the offer is within compensation guidelines.
• Monitors maintain a recruitment advertising budget assuring that expenditures remain within budgetary constraints.
• Complies with all legal and regulatory requirements for the recruitment process and communicates to appropriate parties when potential compliance issues are identified.
• Participate in the implementation of employee programs and events that are sponsored by the Human Resources Department.
• Serves as a resource to managers and associates with regard to human resources policy and procedures.
• This is an onsite position

General Job requirements:

• Bachelors degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration.
• Three plus years of recruitment and/or human resource experience, preferably in a health care environment.
• Computer skills include Microsoft Office, database management and the internet.
• Excellent interpersonal assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• The ability to organize multiple tasks simultaneously.
