Quality Management Consultant Highlights
• The pay for this position is $34.13 per hour.
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Temporary contract position
Responsibilities
• Review and triage potential quality of care referrals in MedHok and CATs grievance applications.
• Use clinical judgment to evaluate whether a quality-of-care concern exists.
• Communicate acceptance status of each referral within the grievance application.
• Enter accepted referrals into the PQOC database, ensuring accurate data entry from various internal systems.
• Monitor and handle incoming correspondence, including faxes, emails, medical records, and other inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with risk management, regulatory, and accreditation requirements through accurate and complete documentation.
• Maintain accurate and organized records and ensure adherence to deadlines and timelines.
• Work independently with general supervision, applying specialized knowledge in the field.
• Participate in team collaboration and contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.
Requirements
• 3+ years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current unrestricted state RN licensure (Compact license preferred).
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe).
• Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Must be able to work fully remote and independently while meeting deadlines.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior work-from-home experience is preferred.
• Experience in Managed Care, Utilization Management, or Case Management preferred.
• Knowledge of risk management and accreditation requirements preferred.
• Familiarity with the MedHok and CATs grievance applications preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills preferred.
