Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Managing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
2. Utilizing Procore project management software to track, manage, and report on project progress, risks, and issues.
3. Coordinating and supervising all construction activities, ensuring that all phases of the project are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
4. Working closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure that all project requirements are met.
5. Leading and motivating a team of construction professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
6. Overseeing the construction process, from the conceptual development stage through final construction, ensuring that all work is carried out to specific standards.
7. Managing relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
8. Implementing and maintaining safety standards and protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Construction Project Manager position will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, specifically with Commercial Healthcare, Science, or Academic project experience.
2. Proven experience with tilt-up construction techniques and Procore project management software.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling and project management principles.
4. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
6. A strong understanding of the healthcare construction industry, including specific regulations, standards, and best practices.
7. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
8. Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) would be an added advantage.
