About the Job
We are seeking a Healthcaare Business Analyst/Immunization systems for a long term contract working remotely from anywhere in Texas and playing a lead role managing stakeholders, reviewing policies, guiding and defining requirements, making technical, process and policy recommendations and communicating with multiple business programs and development teams. You must have the ability to see the big picture and manage individual tasks and details to drive solutions. You will be tasked with providing business analysis, policy analysis, process analysis, problem solving and technology agnostic solution recommendations for two projects related to 1) Data Quality Improvements and 2) Immunization Registry Consolidated System Strategic Planning and Analysis.
Skills required include:

2. Analysis skills: compare/contrast, gap analysis, root cause analysis, risk analysis
3. Business and technology process evaluation and modeling,
4. Facilitate sessions with stakeholders to gather information about processes and concepts
1. If not SME in the subject area themselves; ability to perform research and do their homework to ask poignant questions to fill in missing information so they can quickly put a puzzle of information together without having to know all the details to get to understand new concepts.
5. Ability to understand basic concepts and constructs of case management systems, through app dev support activities for such systems - preferably as a BA or consultant (immunization registries a bonus)
6. Ability to understand the concept of person / patient record management constructs and common data quality issues around uniquely identifying a person (and avoiding duplicate instances of that person in an information system without a definitive identifier such as SSN, Medicaid Number or Master Patient Index. - This is important, this is what we are solving for and providing expert advice on?.and we don't fully know the answer yet ourselves)
7. Ability to understand data integration and interoperability concepts - preferably an experienced BA or consultant on data integration / interoperability projects.
8. Familiarity with data quality concepts for data ingestion, data at rest and data quality best practices when data is being received electronically from multiple sources.
9. Ability to write an assessment targeted for Directors / C-level audience, summarizing findings and analysis drawn from the findings, along with recommendations and roadmap for improvements. Ability to demonstrate logical reasoning for why the recommendations are made and how the recommendations are based on the analysis.
Requirements:
8 years' experience as a Business Analyst with background in Data Quality, Data Integration and data interoperability
5 years' experience in the Healthcare Industry and experience with case and record management systems
5 years experience with, gap analysis, root cause analysis and risk analysis
Must have experience developing assessments Directors/ C-level executives
Preferred:
Experience working with immunization systems
