Health Unit Coordinator
Job Summary
Performs a variety of computer, clerical, scheduling and supply functions necessary for the operation of the department. Responsibilities include handling and controlling written and verbal communication between unit personnel and numerous physicians, ancillary services, patients, visitors and families
Minimum Education Requirements: High School diploma or GED
Minimum Experience: Previous medical secretary experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Other skills and abilities: Bilingual a plus
Equipment/Software/Certification/License: Previous experience with Meditech preferred. Basic computer literacy required..
