Role Overview:
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to expand access to essential healthcare services. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with smaller/local Health Systems and FQHCs, fostering relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that exceed client expectations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to promote our integrated product offerings, contributing to the overall growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and engage decision-makers within target client organizations, delivering compelling presentations that demonstrate the value of our offerings.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement client service models aimed at optimizing satisfaction and retention.
Actively contribute to team efforts in closing deals and achieving sales targets.
Manage existing accounts while strategically growing assigned business segments.
Maintain accurate records within CRM systems, providing valuable insights to company leadership.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and contract status to effectively address client needs and objections.
Provide input on product offering enhancements to meet client demands and drive company profitability.
Assist leadership in developing sales budgets, analyzing opportunities, and executing special projects.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years' experience in diverse healthcare settings such as pharma, retail pharmacy, managed care, or 340B.
Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce), business intelligence tools, and basic finance concepts.
Demonstrated experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences, including C-Suite and executive-level stakeholders.
Strong collaborative skills with a track record of achieving department goals within budget and timelines.
Knowledge of federal drug programs, community health centers, critical access hospitals, and rural/small hospitals, with completion of 340B University or equivalent.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues, implementing effective strategies to overcome challenges.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM programs.
Minimum 1 year of leadership experience or demonstrated leadership skills in a cross-functional team environment.
Willingness to travel up to 50% for business purposes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Background or experience in Public Health or Public Administration.
Experience in 340B, Specialty Pharmacy, Ryan White, or other government-funded safety net healthcare programs.
