Health Services Assistant - Dallas Retirement Village

Purpose: The Resident Services Assistant – Medication Aid assists in the personal care of the of the assisted living and residential care reside...Educational and Experience Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older.

One (1) year experience in elder care.

Prefer 6 months prior Medication Aide experience

Must have adequate reading and writing skills to perform required documentation duties.

Other Requirements:

Must understand the uniqueness of personal care. The goal is to assist where needed yet encourage independence.

Must at all times and in all places treat residents with kindness and respect.

Must rotate shifts as needed and work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Must be willing to sign-up or be assigned to an on-call schedule to back-up staff assignments and call ins.
