Position Summary:
The Health Services Administrator is responsible for the overall planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the health services program within a skilled nursing facility. This role ensures that the facility provides high-quality, comprehensive care to residents in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive resident assessment and care planning processes.
- Coordinate and manage the facility's interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and social workers.
- Ensure that the facility maintains adequate staffing levels and that staff members are properly trained and qualified.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided to residents, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and manage the facility's budget for health services.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to Medicare and Medicaid.
- Represent the facility to external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies, community organizations, and families.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in California
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Health Services Administrator in a skilled nursing facility
- Master's degree in healthcare administration or a related field preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
