Health and Human Resources Specialist - BFA/Family Support - Statewide - State of West Virginia

As a Family Support Center Specialist in the Bureau for Family Assistance, this position is to actively strengthen families by helping them recognize and access concrete supports through the development of policies, procedures, and standards for Family Support Centers which ensure responsible administration of federal monies. Family Support Centers are funded through a combination of community based child abuse and neglect prevention (CBCAP), temporary assistance for needy families (TANF), and state funds. The Family Support Center Specialist will represent the Division of Family Support at various local, state and national meetings in order to promote the goals and objectives of Family Support Centers. The FSC Specialist will prepare for meetings, write reports, research additional grant opportunities, and develop and implement systems to gather data from FSC programs.
