Job Details
This role is ideal for a legal professional with expertise in healthcare licensing and patient care issues, who is looking for an opportunity to grow in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Healthcare Licensing: Advise and assist healthcare clients with licensing applications, renewals, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Patient Care Legal Issues: Provide legal guidance on matters related to patient care, including risk management, patient rights, and privacy concerns.
Regulatory Compliance: Help clients navigate the complex healthcare regulatory environment, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Represent healthcare clients in legal disputes, administrative hearings, and litigation related to healthcare law.
Policy Development and Implementation: Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures for healthcare clients to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering responsive and strategic legal counsel.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in [State], or eligible for admission.
2-5 years of experience in healthcare law, with a focus on healthcare licensing and patient care issues.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in healthcare litigation.
Knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare-related privacy laws.
A proactive, detail-oriented, and organized approach to work.
