You will own the evaluation, continuous improvement, and implementation of our compensation, payroll, mobility, and benefits programming globally. At SeatGeek we believe our people are an essential strategic advantage; our compensation team is of great importance to ensure the team is motivated and rewarded appropriately.What you'll doTranslate our compensation and benefits philosophy into a tactical execution plan for employees with a focus on our annual equity refresh program and salary reviewsPartner with Finance to forecast and lead multi-year financial models including annual merit, promotion, and equity budgetsBuild our total rewards employee value proposition; driving employee communications to inform various reward values across offerings (cash, equity, benefits, perks, etc.) to attract, retain, and engage fellow Geeks Manage, coach, and develop a team of compensation and benefits expertsCollaborate and consult with HR Business Partners and Recruiting on offers, promotions, transfers, and develop policies and guidelines Forecast and propose a long-term compensation and equity strategy roadmap that is competitive in the marketplace while keeping in mind the equity poolIterate upon our current compensation model while working with our executive team – particularly our CFO and CEO – and board to build a truly innovative total rewards and equity programDevelop the annual calendar of core activities and lead the preparation of materials for the Compensation CommitteeWhat you have10+ years working in tech company total rewards (compensation and benefits) or management consulting 3+ years of people management experienceProven ability to innovate in the rewards space and develop success metricsExtensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodsSheets/Excel wizardry - vlookups, index matches, etc. with a penchant for data visualization A love of numbers and data, with an open-minded approach to problem solvingComfort working in an agile work environment; you’re quick on your feetAssertion when required; you’re able to challenge and be challenged both internally and with clients in a constructive and respectful wayStrong problem solving skills; you’re able to quickly digest a problem and evaluate solutions and then empower others to deliverAbility to make effective decisions under pressure and promote a calm and considered approachA desire to consistently improve efficiency and quality of deliveryExcellent time management skills and written and verbal communication skillsPerksEquity stakeFlexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you’d like or 100% remotelyA WFH stipend to support your home office setupUnlimited PTOUp to 16 weeks of paid family leave401(k) matching programHealth, vision, dental, and life insuranceUp to $25k towards family building services$500 per year for wellness expensesSubscriptions to Headspace (meditation), Headspace Care (therapy), and One Medical$120 per month to spend on tickets to live eventsAnnual subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon musicThe salary range for this role is $193,000 - $283,000 USD.
