Head of Title Operations (Rockville, MD or Tysons/Fairfax, VA) - AtoZ Title and Settlement

We are a Human Centric Real Estate Title and Settlement company serving Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC, with plans to expand into Florida in the near future. Our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction drives our growth, and we are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our title operations team as we enter this exciting phase of expansion.

The Head of Title Operations will oversee and manage the title processing team, including 4-6 processors, pre-processors, and post-closers. Based in either Rockville, MD, Tysons, VA, or Fairfax, VA, this leadership role requires extensive experience in title processing, strong operational skills, and a proven ability to enhance team performance and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and lead the title processing team to achieve operational excellence.
• Operational Oversight: Develop and streamline workflows to maximize efficiency and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Title Expertise: Resolve complex title issues, including liens, judgments, and title defects, to facilitate timely and accurate closings.
• Client Engagement: Foster relationships with real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys to ensure a seamless transaction process and promote repeat business.
• Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow the company’s client base and enhance service offerings.
• Compliance and Accuracy: Maintain strict adherence to industry regulations and ensure all documents and processes are accurate and compliant.
• Technology Utilization: Leverage Qualia and other title management software to optimize operations and track performance.
• Training and Development: Organize training sessions to keep the team updated on the latest industry tools, practices, and trends.
• Social Media and Branding: Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance processing insights, including podcasts and other content strategies.

Qualifications

• Licensed Title Insurance Producer in Virginia, Maryland, and DC (required).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in title processing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong expertise in Qualia software.
• Proven ability to resolve complex title issues and manage high-pressure situations.
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
• Active social media presence (e.g., podcasts) is a plus.
• Bilingual in [preferred languages] is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends or evenings as needed.
