Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to lead and manage the organization's sales activities. The ideal candidate will drive strategic initiatives, oversee team performance, and foster client relationships to achieve corporate objectives. This role requires a proven leader capable of balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
Strategic Sales Planning
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate goals and revenue targets, while leading sales forecasting activities and setting team performance goals.
Team Leadership and Development
- Oversee staffing, training, and performance evaluations to build and manage a high-performing sales team that meets or exceeds targets.
Market and Competitive Analysis
- Analyze market trends to identify customer needs, pricing strategies, and opportunities for market differentiation through competitive analysis.
Client and Distributor Relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors, providing advice on sales and advertising strategies, delivering impactful presentations, and supporting negotiations.
Sales Operations and Territory Management
- Coordinate channel development, establish sales territories, quotas, and goals, and monitor sales statistics to optimize team performance and promote sales.
Reporting and Budget Management
- Prepare detailed sales reports on performance metrics and opportunities, while overseeing expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary requirements.
Product and Operational Collaboration
- Direct product research and development initiatives, collaborating with other departments to create training materials, technical publications, and operational manuals.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales leadership, strategic planning, and team management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and create actionable strategies.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and driving revenue growth.
- Familiarity with sales technologies, CRM tools, and data analysis platforms is a plus.
