Interim Head of HR - Contract Position

Responsibilities
- Lead HR activities in the US and propose a ramp-up strategy for efficient growth and Biotech Business needs, including building a commercial ramp-up plan
- Drive the Global Leveling/Grading project in support of the CHRO
- Supervise US HR policies and processes and propose improvements when necessary
- Oversee payroll management for the US entity and ensure compliance with government regulations
- Provide consultation to US management on staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training, and development, budget, and labor relations
- Direct routine HR functions, including hiring, payroll supervision, benefits, leave, and enforcing company policies
- Maintain efficient Global onboarding process and connect executives with employees to improve engagement and strategic talent resource plans
- Handle discipline and termination of employees and resolve conflicts through positive and professional mediation
- Analyze compensation and benefits trends and propose initiatives to support retention and engagement of employees
- Maintain knowledge of HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in collaboration with French HR colleagues
- Create workplace health protocols and ensure safety compliance
- Give helpful and engaging presentations
- Manage payroll processing systems and maintain accuracy and timeliness
Key Competencies
- In-depth understanding of Biotech culture and public and listed requirements for US companies
- International experience and intercultural management skills is KEY
- Collaboration, curiosity, courage, and credibility values critical
- Strong experience in Talent, C&B and recruitment on the US market
- Ability to build a commercial ramp-up plan to support efficient growth and Biotech Business needs
