About the Position
We're seeking an accomplished Head of Finance with startup experience to lead our finance team, encompassing responsibilities in financial planning, analysis, accounting, tax, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bookkeeping, and broader financial management. As a pivotal member of our leadership team, you'll drive financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and ensure the overall financial health and compliance of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the finance function, including financial planning, analysis, accounting, tax, AP, AR, and bookkeeping, leveraging your startup experience.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with our growth objectives and market dynamics, with a keen understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in startup environments.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to senior management to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls, while navigating the agility and rapid growth inherent in startup environments.
- Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance, with a focus on financial leadership or similar roles within startup environments.
- Demonstrated success in leading finance functions, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax, AP, AR, and bookkeeping in startup settings.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- CPA or relevant professional certification.
- Experience in the healthcare or technology industries.
Compensation, Benefits, and Arrangements:
- Compensation: 120k~200k based on experience.
- Location: On-site in Redwood City, California.
