About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day running of the kitchen.
- Menu planning.
- Create recipes.
- Determine food inventory needs, stocking and ordering.
- Ensure the kitchen meets all regulations for both sanitary and food safety guidelines.
- Responsible for health and safety.
- Servsafe Certified.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Able to adapt to change and embrace new ideas.
- Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of all sections of the kitchen.
- Ability to manage a budget.
- Creative.
- Ability to make sound decisions regarding menu prices and kitchen processes.
- Manage inventory.
- Handle intake and inspection of incoming orders.
- Train kitchen staff.
- Minimum of 40 hours a week
