DAY-TO-DAY
This full-time business development position at our technology company works typical business hours. This position also includes 5-10% travel to trade shows and client businesses when needed, with 1 week of onsite training per year.
As an HCM Business Development - Sales Executive with our software company, you're responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of the sales cycle. This includes self-generating leads, qualifying prospects, identifying client needs, closing sales, and ensuring a smooth transition from the proposal process to successful onboarding and integration. You aggressively seek out new business opportunities to develop new leads and schedule initial appointments to present our services to business owners in person. Through in-person meetings, you prepare and present proposals to convert leads into new business deals.
Additionally, you close sales and transition new clients to onboarding. You then conduct follow up with new clients to ensure they're satisfied with our services and see if they have any questions or concerns. Your exceptional customer service skills help our business continuously grow, and you take great pride in knowing you serve in such an important role!

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN HCM BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - SALES EXECUTIVE
- 2+ years of proven sales experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent customer service and presentation skills
- Strong business acumen
Internet marketing sales experience is preferred, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. We need someone who is thorough and willing to help our software company succeed.
