HCG - DeltaV MES Syncade Engineer - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing - Horizon Controls Group

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DeltaV MES (Syncade) Engineer to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. The DeltaV MES (Syncade) Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our DeltaV and Syncade systems, ensuring seamless integration with our manufacturing processes. This role is critical for ensuring compliance, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of product quality.

Key Responsibilities

System Implementation and Integration:

• Configure and deploy DeltaV and Syncade systems to meet the specific requirements of manufacturing processes.
  
• Integrate MES with other systems such as ERP, LIMS, and SCADA to ensure seamless data flow and process coordination.
  

Process Automation:

• Develop and implement automation solutions to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  
• Manage batch processes, including recipe management, scheduling, and execution.
  

Maintenance and Support:

• Provide technical support for DeltaV and Syncade systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimize downtime and production disruptions.
  
• Plan and execute system upgrades and updates to maintain functionality and security.
  

Data Management and Reporting:

• Configure and manage data collection from various manufacturing processes for analysis and reporting.
  
• Develop and generate reports to provide insights into production performance, quality, and compliance.
  

Compliance and Validation:

• Ensure that the MES system complies with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, GMP) through proper validation and documentation.
  
• Develop and execute validation protocols to certify system functionality and compliance.
  

Training and Documentation:

• Train end-users and other stakeholders on the use and benefits of the DeltaV and Syncade systems.
  
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system design, configuration, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in process automation and MES implementation within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  
• Proven experience with DeltaV and Syncade systems is required.
  
• Strong technical expertise in DeltaV and Syncade software platforms.
  
• Proficiency in automation, control systems, and process engineering.
  
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality systems in the pharmaceutical industry.
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Experience with integrating MES with ERP, LIMS, and SCADA systems.
  
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
