About the Job
- Complete battery EE level tests and provide accurate result report
- Generate critical metrics for day-to-day lab activities
- Reviews BMU schematics and layout to verify conformance and to determine testability
- Conducts investigations and prepares reports to support investigations
- Writes plans, co-develops procedures and analyzes data for validation activities
- Running complex test setups using high accuracy test equipment
- Troubleshooting equipment and sample issues, maintaining and solving test equipment problems as needed
- Use various types of measurement equipment to test batteries and cells
Requirements:
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering
- 2+ years of experience in testing in lab environment with understanding BMU protections
- Understanding of EE bench test equipment and use and appropriate application (Oscilloscopes, meters, data-loggers, power supplies, etc.)
- Highly experienced in a lab setting, bringing a can-do attitude with a willingness to take ownership and drive results
- Relies on data to support technical decisions and ability to clearly explain technical issues
- Self-starter with excellent time management skills and curious spirit and willing to work in a fast-paced team
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently under high pressure and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Have a previous track record of successfully conducting tests - should also be able to process and summarize data
- Possess a high level of attention to details
- Familiarity with test platforms including Automated Test Equipment using data acquisition and instrumentation control software such as python or similar test scripting
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
