Job Summary
We are looking for a Hardware Engineer with SI and DVT experience for our Consulting services client. The Hardware Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of high-speed signals and leading the design verification process for new hardware products. This role requires a deep understanding of electromagnetic theory, PCB design, and testing methodologies.
Primary Responsibilities
We are looking for a Hardware Engineer with SI and DVT experience for our Consulting services client. The Hardware Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of high-speed signals and leading the design verification process for new hardware products. This role requires a deep understanding of electromagnetic theory, PCB design, and testing methodologies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct signal integrity analysis and simulations using industry-standard tools.
- Design and execute DVT plans for new hardware products.
- Collaborate with PCB designers to optimize layouts for signal integrity.
- Perform lab testing using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and other equipment.
- Analyze test data and provide recommendations for design improvements.
- Document test procedures and results for regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware design with a focus on SI and DVT.
- Strong lab skills with measurement experience (VNA, TDR, Real Time/Sampling Scopes, BERT, SSA)
- Working experience with high speed NRZ and PAM4 Serdes, PLLs, retimer
- Understanding the Clock architecture
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of DDR3, DDR4
- Previous experience working on board design projects that are ? 10 layers board stackup and speeds of 10G SERDES or higher
