Main Responsibilities of a Hardscape Laborer:
- Preparing sites for construction and keeping them safe
- Operating heavy machinery and equipment
- Loading, unloading, and assembling materials and tools
Hardscape Laborer Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated hardscape laborer who can help us complete a variety of projects in an efficient, effective, and safe manner.
A good job candidate must be able to perform strenuous physical tasks, such lifting heavy equipment. They also need to have strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities of a Hardscape Laborer:
- Execute hardscape and landscape projects.
- Work in a team to complete tasks according to project scope.
- Properly use and maintain equipment.
- Maintain high quality standards throughout the project.
- Be compliant with all health and safety regulations.
Hardscape Laborer Job Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 90 lbs regularly.
- Industry experience a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Positive attitude and good work ethic.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
Pay rate: $20 - $30 per hour based on experience and ability
$1000 Signing Bonus after 180 days of employment (for full-time employees)

Paul Devine is the owner/operator of Exterior Enterprises and is one of the few designers in this market to achieve an NCMA (National Concrete and Masonry Association) certification level of Advanced Trainer. Paul has been learning and teaching in the industry since 2001. He worked for a company that did general landscaping while studying Law. Paul quickly discovered that he had a knack for design, loved to be outdoors, and had an entrepreneurial spirit that led him to start his own business in the hardscape industry.
In the off season Paul travels the country presenting retaining wall and paver installation seminars for designers, architects and contractors. The seminars introduce proper hardscape installation techniques and offer ICPI and NCMA certification courses.In addition Exterior Enterprises runs a Snow Removal operation where they work with small to large corporate businesses. Snow removal is a vital service to our communities and we strive to keep our communities open.
