Position Overview:

Maü Miami is seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team. The Handyman will be responsible for performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work, and possess strong problem-solving abilities.

Key

Job duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing leaks, replacing light fixtures, and fixing broken equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and ventilation systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work areas and storage spaces.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down equipment and furniture for special events.
• Handle minor carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, cabinets, and furniture.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from management and staff.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for larger repair projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
