Guidance, Navigation & Control Lead Engineer
Individual possesses experience in the operational, component design and subsystem interdependency aspects of hypersonic vehicle guidance, navigation, and control (GNC). Familiarity with inertial/stellar and guidance instruments and flight computer interaction is desired. The successful candidate should be highly motivated and have detailed knowledge and proficiency in the following areas:
* Autopilot
* Navigation
* Guidance and GPS updates
* Subsystem alignment
* Data interfaces
* Real-time software
* Hardware-in-the-Loop testing
* System accuracy and performance assessment
Qualifications
Qualifications:
* Ph.D. or M.S. in engineering with relevant professional experience
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Effective detailed report and proposal preparation
* Active Secret clearance preferred; ability to obtain security clearance is required
