Overview
Waters Corporation is seeking a visionary Growth Marketing Leader for our Waters Division, poised to elevate our business segments globally. This role is critical for crafting and driving high-impact, multi-touch demand creation programs that drive pipeline and revenue growth. As a leader of a global demand generation team, you will spearhead efforts to prospect new business opportunities from both existing and prospective customers across diverse segments.
This role reports to the Vice President of Commercial Excellence & Marketing and will work closely with our Commercial teams across the globe. The ideal candidate should be data-driven, committed and have a strategic mindset. This role requires a candidate with strong influencing skills, creativity, and offers the ability to thrive in an ambitious culture. The role is also key in developing strategic and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in the organization, requiring a high level of effective communication, capable of identifying and prioritizing business needs and customer engagement plans
Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with Waters Division Business Segment and Regional Commercial Leaders to align on strategic business priorities. Provide expert mentorship in crafting demand generation plans that achieve key business objectives.
- Value Positioning: Improve marketing strategies to effectively position our portfolio-wide solutions, tailored to meet the needs of strategic customer segments and applications.
- Integrated Planning: Develop and implement harmonized planning processes that ensure alignment with core priorities, optimize budget utilization, and maximize marketing's contribution to revenue.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish mechanisms to monitor campaign performance, leveraging leading and lagging indicators of success. Drive insights for marketing evaluation to improve MQLs and sales pipeline, enabling swift decision-making.
- Team Leadership: Lead a diverse team of demand generation functions, foster Centers of Excellence across channels to support effective multichannel campaigns and best practices.
- Digital Best Practices: Collaborate with Digital and IT teams to develop and implement best practices in digital demand generation. Amplify campaign efficiency through enhanced focus on content, SEO, and paid advertising strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Commercial Platforms, Enablement, Revenue Operations, and Corporate Communications to analyze marketing’s impact on the sales pipeline, conversion rates, and customer acquisition.
- Database Enrichment: Develop processes to enhance and enrich the customer database, ensuring targeted capabilities for sustained engagement.
- Continuous Improvement: Reinforce best practices while staying abreast of the latest B2B demand generation strategies to consistently meet or exceed pipeline and revenue targets.
- Talent Development: Cultivate a high-performance organization by attracting, retaining, and developing talent across all levels.
- Budget Management: Oversee budgets for global marketing campaigns and channels, ensuring strategic allocation and effective financial management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital marketing and demand generation.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), analytics, social media campaign analytics, and marketing automation tools (Marketo preferred).
- Strong strategic thinker with a results-oriented execution approach.
- Knowledge of paid media strategy and best practices.
- Validated leadership experience in coordinating and integrating field marketing activities across regions.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with proven success in program development.
- Strong communication abilities at the executive level.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
- Experience leading global and matrix organizations.
- Culturally aware with the ability to adapt marketing strategies to diverse regional needs.
- Proactive in driving initiatives, challenging conventional thinking, and fostering collaborative dialogue.
