About the Job
Bright Light Academy is seeking an experienced Group Supervisor to lead our infants' teaching team.
The ideal candidates will have at least an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Children & Families or another related field as well as two+ years of experience working with young children, be a team player, and have a passion for learning and growing in the field of early childhood education. Candidates MUST qualify as Group Supervisors with DHS to be considered. Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to create and implement daily lesson plans and activities.
- Help create a safe and stimulating classroom environment for infants & toddlers.
- Monitor and engage with children during playtime, meals, and other daily routines.
- Provide individual and group support to children as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and progress.
- Assist students with person care routines as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Children & Families or another related field.
- Have at lease two years of experience working with children (2500 hours) preferably infants & toddlers.
- Must qualify as a Group Supervisor with the Dept. of Human Services.
- Able to pass state, federal, and child abuse background checks.
- Be 18 years or older and able to work in the United States.
- A love for children and a desire to work with infants.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Be able to lift up to 40lbs, see, hear & sit on the floor with children.
- Must be patient, nurturing, and able to create a positive learning environment.
- Bilingual a plus.
Position Overview:
- This is a full-time position, but Bright Light full-time staff work a 4-day work week!
- The pay range starts at $17.50 up to $19 (relative to experience, degree & education) per hour with a pay increase based on performance at the end of a 90-day probation period.
- Full-time staff also receive paid holidays & PTO, sick pay, annual raises, reduced child care & more.
