Job Summary:
As our Group Area Sales Manager, you'll be at the forefront of selling, planning, and coordinating all aspects of events in our Ashland market. From corporate gatherings to birthday parties, you'll ensure every event is a smashing success!
Key Responsibilities:
Drive event revenues to exceed sales goals and budgets by selling to groups of 10 guests or more, utilizing effective negotiation skills.
Collaborate closely with our Social Media team to create engaging content and promotions across various platforms.
Develop and execute a robust sales and marketing plan to achieve departmental revenue goals.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with diverse customer segments, from corporate clients to community organizations.
Participate in trade shows and community events to heighten awareness and foster positive relationships within the community.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to partners and clients throughout the event planning process.
Qualifications:
Enthusiastic and team-oriented mindset.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage a high-volume workload.
Previous experience in sales, hospitality, or related fields is preferred.
Education and Requirements:
Valid driver's license.
Willingness to work weekends and travel occasionally.
Ability to meet physical requirements such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
