Groundskeeper - South Side on Lamar - Lantower Luxury Living

Lantower Luxury Living is currently hiring for Porter/Groundskeeper to support the maintenance and facilities management for South Side on Lamar, a Class A apartment community in the downtown Dallas area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on and helping customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure property maintains exceptional curb appeal by keeping the grounds and buildings clean and properly maintained.
• Assist maintenance with repairs as needed in a timely and professional manner.
• Inspect vacated apartments and perform duties to restore apartments to “make-ready” status. Ensure a high quality of work has been performed.
• Display a friendly and courteous attitude towards residents and other employees.
• Correctly document work performed on a service request and ensure all service requests are completed in a timely manner.
• Inspect the exterior of the property. Perform building and common area upkeep daily.
• Monitor the property for snow removal, lawn care and ice removal.
• Perform effective emergency maintenance (after-hours) as required.
• Comply with company safety standards, OSHA and Fair Housing regulations.
• Communicate with Supervisor when parts and supplies need to be ordered and maintain inventory as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of related maintenance experience and/or training.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work well with others.
• Strong knowledge and skill in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools and measuring devices.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 100 lbs. for installation and removal of appliances. Able to kneel, crouch, climb, and crawl to assist with repairs.
