The Position for Groundskeeper:

The duties of the grounds keeper include:

• Ensures the grounds and common areas of the property are clean at all times.
• Picks up trash and debris in common area, pool, and recreation areas.
• Assists Maintenance with various tasks. Reports all maintenance repairs needed to the supervisor.
• Sweeps and cleans parking lot on daily basis.
• Picks up trash from grounds daily.
• Uses Hose to clean front entry walks on a regular scheduled basis and as needed.
• Changes all light bulbs in hallways and common areas as needed.
• Assists other staff with moving and installation of furniture and equipment.
• Assists with snow removal as needed.
• Sets a good example for residents. Maintains courteous and helpful attitude with residents.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

The Candidate

• High School diploma or equivalent OR proven ability to read labels, instructions, etc.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team environment.
• Ability to be well organized and flexible.
• Must have some ability related to facility maintenance, changing bulbs, sweeping.
• May need to transport self between properties.
• Background check is required.
