Groundskeeper - The Boar's Head Resort

The Boar's Head Resort is seeking a full-time Groundskeeper! The Grounds team maintains the Hotel and Sports Club landscaping and surrounding areas. As a Groundskeeper you will play an integral role in the upkeep and preservation of our land.  

Responsibilities:

• Cut lawns, plant grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs
• Water lawn and shrubs
• Maintaining trims and edges around walks, flower beds, and walls
• Prune shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs
• Rake and bag leaves
• Repair fences, gates, walls, and walks
• Clean grounds and remove litter
• Contribute to overall resort team effort by completing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Willing to learn how to operate maintenance equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• General knowledge of landscaping
• Must be able to operate and drive a golf cart
