Position Overview:
As a Ground-Up Commercial Project Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of our projects, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and precision.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Manage construction projects, collaborating effectively across departments to ensure seamless project execution and organizational alignment.
Budget and Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely completion within constraints.
Quality Assurance: Uphold rigorous quality standards throughout the construction process.
Risk Management: Identify and address potential risks to minimize project disruptions.
Client Communication: Foster positive client relationships and manage accounts effectively.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including superintendents, pre-construction, accounting, business development, and technology to achieve project goals.
Contract Administration: Negotiate change orders and participate in contract negotiations.
Reporting: Maintain and update project progress, manage KPIs, and deliver on corporate profit and cash flow goals.
Other duties as assigned: Perform additional responsibilities as required to support the successful completion of projects and organizational objectives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Construction Management in a Project Manager role.
Proven track record of successfully managing client and account relationships, demonstrating strong ownership and commitment to client satisfaction.
Expert in KPI management, project tracking, and P&L oversight to ensure successful project delivery and financial health.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, understanding specifications, and managing construction processes.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Adaptability to changing project requirements and deadlines. Ability to pivot to remove obstacles and deliver on expectations.
Experience in healthcare, hospitality, retail, self-storage, and multifamily sectors preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in Blue Beam, GCP, Sage SCM, ProNovos, or similar systems.
Proficiency in construction financial management, including WIP reporting, project cost forecasting, and client payment application processes.
Bilingual (Oral & Written English required, Oral Spanish strongly preferred).
Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel as needed for project oversight.
