We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer who is committed to safety and delivering and incredible experience for pets and their parents. The ideal candidate will be able to provide exceptional grooming services to pets of all breeds and sizes. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the health and appearance of the pups in our care while ensuring their comfort and safety during the entire grooming process.
We are seeking to add Groomers to our PUPS Gold Coast and Streeterville locations, but we are interested in talking to skilled groomers with interests in any/all of our PUPS Pet Club locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full-service grooming services (such as bathe, shampoo and condition, shave/trim/cut, style, clean ears/teeth, trim nails) according to breed standards and pet parent preferences.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any potential health issues that may require veterinary attention.
- Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring a stress-free experience for both the animal and owner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization workstation, tools, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with pet parents about grooming services, pet care, at-home care tips, and future appointments and recommendations.
- Provide excellent member service according to PUPS' standards to build lasting relationships with clients.
Additional Details
- Previous experience in pet grooming is required; must be able to successfully perform grooms on various breeds, weights and sizes; style to breed standards and client preferences.
- Safety is critical for team members and pets; ability to safely handle animals in various situations and environments is required.
- Flexibility to regularly work weekends is required.
- Strong customer service skills are required to promote strong relationships with members; we'll teach you the PUPS standards for member services!
- Additional education and/or grooming certification is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or equipment.
