Key Job duties
- Wood Fire Oven Cooking: Prepare and cook dishes using a wood-fired oven, adhering to the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
- Fire Management: Maintain and control the wood fire to ensure optimal cooking temperatures and conditions.
- Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients and set up the wood fire oven station with necessary supplies.
- Cooking Execution: Execute dishes efficiently and consistently, ensuring high-quality output and presentation.
- Sanitation and Safety: Comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and sanitary work area.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, communicating effectively and assisting in training new members.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a cook specializing in wood-fired oven cooking.
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wood fire cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and creativity in dish presentation.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in the kitchen.
Physical Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working with and around open flames and high temperatures.
Work Environment:

- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required.
Compensation:
