Hiring Salary Range: $39,046-$40,608 Full Salary Range: $39,046 - $55,227 Annually
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

Primary Duties/Brief Description of Work:
As a vital part of the Greenway and Gardens staff, you will be called upon to perform various tasks related to landscaping including but not limited to: planting, pruning, pest and disease identification and management, irrigation installation and repair, mowing, edging, blowing, chain saw operation, leaf removal, mulching, vegetable gardening, turf grass management, annual installation, and snow removal. The selected employee may be responsible for the routine garden, greenway, park, and building maintenance such as trash collection, mopping, and restroom cleaning. The physical duties of the job require walking, standing, repetitive bending, repetitive kneeling, and lifting of up to 50 pounds safely in all types of weather. This position is considered service-critical and will be required to work during inclement weather events when the City offices might be closed. Occasional weekend, night, holiday, and special events work is required. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of ornamental plants and proper pruning techniques. The Crew Member position requires interacting with people of all ages as a public service position.
