Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America Inc. is the manufacturer and master toy licensee of some of the most popular brands in collectibles, children’s toys, and entertainment today, including Tamagotchi®, DragonBall®, Vital Hero, Anime Heroes®, Bandai Hobby, Gundam, Tamashii & Studio Ghibli.
Responsibilities as the Graphic Designer, but not limited to:
- Conceptualize, design, layout, produce and execute innovative design concepts for a variety of assets including experiential design and trade show creative, pop-up retail stores, digital marketing materials, print collateral, packaging, and event branding initiatives. Includes wall graphics, menu boards, product display tags and any promotional graphic materials.
- Stay abreast of the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve the quality and impact of design outputs.
- Oversee the final production of design assets, ensuring high quality and adherence to brand standards.
- Partner with Brand Departments to work on projects both online and for events - including retail pop-up stores.
- Be accountable for projects while having a passion for the creation of eye-catching designs.
- Lead communication with outside vendors to execute projects as needed.
- Ensure designs accurately represent the company’s or individual IP’s brand.
- Project management of creative approvals from licensors and brand teams.
Responsibilities as the Project Manager, but not limited to:
- Overall project management skills including timelines, prioritization, and execution of creative tasks; managing multiple projects from conception to completion while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrates strong leadership and project management skills, taking initiative to gain brand approvals and feedback.
- Highly creative approach to graphic design, typography, layout, illustration, and graphic animation.
- Experience working with creative agencies and production houses on multi-channel, creative campaigns.
- Positive attitude and motivation to collaborate and deliver the highest quality work.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills on and off the computer.
- Attention to detail, requiring careful proofreading of text and material.
- Works well independently as well as collaboratively
- Ability to communicate and deal effectively with diverse individuals at all organizational levels in a professional manner.

Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- A minimum of three (3) years of professional design experience, with a proven track record in a design role.
- Proven understanding of graphic design fundamentals.
- Strong command of color theory, image composition, layout principles and typography.
- Exceptional creativity and a strong eye for visual composition.
- Ability to deliver production-ready assets in a wide variety of formats.
- Advanced experience in the Adobe Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of print requirements.
- Experience working with a team and managing projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying ideas and concepts to non-design stakeholders.
- Excellent time-management skills and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills for asset management.
- Excellent leadership qualities and project management ability.
- Knowledge of sketchup or other event design software is a bonus.
- Portfolio submission required.
