About the Job
This is a hybrid position working three days a week in the Carrollton, Texas office.
The Graphic Designer is an integral member of the Creative Studio at DC International, responsible for supporting the visual storytelling and design needs of either Coverstore or Leatherology. This role involves creating high-quality visual assets across various channels, including digital content, email marketing, social advertising, print catalogs, packaging, event materials, and more. The Graphic Designer will also contribute to front-end UI updates, ensuring designs enhance functionality while staying true to each brand’s identity. Collaborating with the Art Director on large-scale campaigns and working directly with brand marketing teams on recurring initiatives, this role requires creativity, attention to detail, and expertise in tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite to produce engaging and accurate designs.
Responsibilities
1. Design and Campaign Execution
- Create visual assets for marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, social advertising, display ads, print catalogs, packaging, event materials, and more.
- Collaborate with the Art Director to develop and execute concepts for large-scale campaigns.
- Partner with brand marketing teams to deliver recurring and evergreen campaign assets that align with business objectives and maintain brand consistency.
- Contribute to front-end UI/UX design updates, ensuring visuals adhere to brand standards and improve user experience.
2. Visual Quality and Content Optimization
- Ensure all designs are visually engaging, accurate, and meet high-quality standards across digital and print channels.
- Edit and retouch images for use in ecommerce, marketing, and advertising, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Perform Photoshop tasks, including compositing, resizing, and optimizing assets for various platforms.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of graphic design experience, preferably in ecommerce or retail.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other relevant design tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout for digital and print media.
- Experience creating visual assets for marketing campaigns, including email, social media, website UI projects, and print content.
- Excellent attention to detail with a creative eye for producing engaging and accurate designs.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and the ability to design for web functionality and usability.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
