Seeking a motivated Graphic Designer Intern to join our internal proposal team. The internship is for 40 hours per week and for a minimum of 6 months. It is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to real projects, while offering mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals to enhance your portfolio and skills.
Essential Job Duties
- Participate in brainstorming sessions.
- Create illustrations, charts, and diagrams in keeping with various requirements and themes.
- Create cover designs that reflect the work being proposed.
- Revise designs based on team feedback.
- Adhere to brand guidelines and project requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Coursework or experience in graphic design.
- Willing to receive feedback and redirection on designs as needed.
- Functional knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and PowerPoint.
- A portfolio showcasing design skills.
- Attention to detail and a sense of aesthetics and layout.
- A willingness to learn, to work with a team toward visual solutions, and ability to take concepts and produce graphics with minimal additional input.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of animation or motion graphics a bonus.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and social media design a bonus.
Work Environment
- Working conditions as normal for an office environment with 3 days in the office with 2 days optional remote work.
- Full-time, six month minimum internship duration.
