Responsible for generating visual content and design materials with the goal of effectively communicating information, messages, and ideas to a targeted audience. This role requires a skillful combination of graphic design and videography abilities, coupled with a deep understanding of communication principles, to ensure that information is presented in a visually engaging and easily understandable manner. This role will play a pivotal role in creating compelling visual and video assets that align with the organization's communication goals.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Visual Content Creation: Designing graphics, illustrations, and layouts for various communication materials such as presentations, town halls, brochures, flyers, posters, newsletters, infographics, and digital media.

• Brand Consistency: Ensuring that all design materials align with the organization's brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in colors, typography, and visual elements.

• Content Enhancement: Collaborating with content creators, writers, and marketers to transform textual information into visually compelling and digestible content.

• Audience Analysis: Understanding the target audience and tailoring designs to appeal to their preferences, interests, and needs.
• Multimedia Integration: Incorporating multimedia elements, such as images, videos, and animations, to enhance communication effectiveness.
• Storyboarding and Scripting: Develop storyboards and scripts for video projects, outlining the visual and narrative structure to ensure clarity and coherence in messaging.

• Photography: Occasionally engage in photography, capturing high quality images that complement design and video projects, especially for on-location shoots or product/process visuals.

• Social Media Graphics: Create and optimize graphics and videos for various social media platforms, keeping up with platform-specific design trends and requirements.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in graphic design software like Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as knowledge of web design and multimedia video editing software.

• Creative Problem-Solving: Solving visual communication challenges creatively and finding innovative ways to convey complex ideas simply.
• Project Management: Managing multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines, and coordinating with team members and stakeholders.
• Stay Current: Keeping up to date with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to maintain relevance in the field.
• Feedback Incorporation: Being open flexible and making revisions based on input from clients, colleagues, or supervisors to achieve the desired communication objectives.

Working Environment/Safety Requirements: 

• Work in Roswell corporate office. Hybrid environment with the ability to travel to local Vestis sites as needed.

Experience/Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred. Candidates with degrees in Multimedia Design or Film Production, along with relevant coursework in graphic design, videography, or related subjects, will also be considered.

• Graphic Design Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, is essential. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software is expected.
• Videography Skills: Demonstrated experience in videography, including video editing, motion graphics, and video production, is highly desirable. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and knowledge of videography techniques is preferred.
