Job Summary:
PharmaCann Inc is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team at PharmaCann, Inc. PharmaCann Inc. is a leading multi-state cannabis operator, currently operating in the states of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado, and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. We are looking for energetic, results-driven individuals to join our rapidly growing team and industry. A successful Graphic Designer will have excellent visual awareness and design skills. They are self-motivated with the persistence to gain work and follow-through. Above all, Designers are leaders in their own right, with the ability to carry a design project from start to finish while meeting tight deadlines.
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and managing the visual aspects for the company based on the main look and feel produced by the Brand and Marketing Teams. The Graphic Designer will take ownership of their design project and lead it through its lifecycle. This position will report into the current Director of Retail Marketing. In this role, you will assist in the creation and production of high-quality visual assets for digital and print materials across multiple platforms. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and the timely execution of design projects and marketing campaigns.
This position can be based out of either our Chicago or Denver offices.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and production of marketing materials including web assets, display ads, social media graphics, email campaigns, in-store signage, menus, promotional assets, etc
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all channels
- Prepare and finalize production-ready files for both digital and print, adhering to brand specifications and requirements
- Create engaging visuals and promotional materials that reflect the brand’s identity and resonate with our target audience
- Ensure all artwork is optimized for web, mobile, and print applications
- Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Adapt existing creative content to different formats, sizes, and platforms
- Stay updated on cannabis industry trends, competitor designs, and the latest design tools and software
- Understand/learn cannabis regulations per state and abide by them across all design work
- Solve problems, be resourceful and adaptable
- Plan, schedule, and monitor progress across large projects while working with the Project Manager(s) to solidify and hit deadlines
- Troubleshoot files and ensure that assets conform to standard procedures and make professional recommendations to correct print or digital production challenges
- Ability to work a flexible schedule

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design/Communication Design, Visual Arts, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design and/or production design in industries such as service bureaus, print production studios, in-house agencies, etc.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite is required (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS or motion graphics (After Effects, Premiere)
- Basic knowledge of print production processes, pre-press, and digital file formats
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual consistency and quality control
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Microsoft Suite knowledge (Word, Power Point, Excel primarily).
- Passion for cannabis culture and industry is a plus
- Cannabis experience is preferred, but not required.
