Job Description
Our client is seeking a Graphic Designer with exceptional aesthetic sense and an intuitive understanding of design and architectural principles. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and able to work in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment. The candidate must be proactive, receptive to creative criticism, and driven to act with a sense of urgency: able to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines. The graphic design work mostly revolves around architectural and design planning in urban settings with a contemporary design. Primarily working on projects related to large-scale development in the Southeast.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and design materials to include, but not limited to; print and interactive collateral such as proposals, presentations, maps, aerials, floorplans, and other packages for ownership and other parties
- Apply professional graphic design principles and develop new ideas to support business development
- Determine production of materials including gathering printing bids, packaging artwork, and assembling final layouts, prepare notes and instructions for printers and other vendors
- Utilize typographic, photographic, illustrative, 3-dimensional, and graphic elements into designs
- Works closely with other team members and senior leadership to meet project objectives in conceptualization and development of graphics and layouts
- Meets all deadlines while juggling multiple projects
- Solves problems proactively with patience and intelligence
- Works closely with peers and sets a tone of partnership between teams
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in Graphic Design or related field
- 2+ years of graphic design experience
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Real Estate and/or Interior Design background is a plus
- Experience in HTML and WordPress is a plus
- Working knowledge of Rhino (3D), AutoCAD (2D), or other 3S modeling/2D program is a plus
- Online portfolio of samples required
